You will cross the High Atlas Mountains, the green valleys and the vast sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. day 1 :

Arrival in Agadir

We arrive in the city of Agadir, where we settle in the hotel or place of residence that we have chosen. Agadir is a beautiful coastal city, famous for its golden beaches and mild weather. We start our trip by relaxing on the beach of Agadir or strolling along the promenade overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. If we are a history lover, we can visit the Agadir Castle (Agadir ofla), which offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city. We spend the night in Agadir to prepare for the start of the trip the next day.

day 2 :

Agadir to Essaouira

Early in the morning, we head to the charming city, Essaouira, a charming coastal city about two and a half hours away by car. Essaouira is known for its historic walls, vibrant port and old Medina centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we arrive, we will explore the medina with its narrow lanes and traditional souks, or visit the port of Essaouira to watch fishermen work. Try fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants. And we'll spend our second night in Essaouira.

day 3 :

Exploring Essaouira

We dedicate this day to discovering more of Essaouira's landmarks. We start by visiting the city scaffold, an ancient castle overlooking the ocean, then tour the Mallah, the old Jewish quarter, to learn about the city's rich history. If you are a beach lover, you can enjoy your time at Essaouira Beach or try water sports such as windsurfing. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from one of the cafes overlooking the sea. We spend the night in Essaouira.

day 4 :

Essaouira to Marrakech

After breakfast, we head to the Red City, one of Morocco's most famous tourist cities. The journey takes about three hours, and along the way, we can stop at one of the argan oil cooperatives to learn more about this unique product. When we arrive in Marrakech, we settle into a traditional riad or hotel. In the evening, we visit Jamaâ El Fna Square, the beating heart of Marrakech, where we find street vendors, artists, and musicians. We spend the night in Marrakech.

day 5 :

Exploring the Magic of Marrakech

This day is dedicated to discovering the treasures of the enchanting city of Marrakech, which combines ancient history with vibrant life. We begin our day by visiting Al Bahia Palace, one of the most beautiful historical landmarks in the city, where we wander through its corridors decorated with ancient Andalusian decorations, and learn about its history dating back to the nineteenth century. Next, we move on to the Saadian Tombs, which houses the tombs of the rulers of the Saadian state, where the unique geometric motifs and inscriptions reflect the splendor of Islamic art, including the Badi Palace built by the Ahmed of Al-Mansour Al-Dhahabi. After this historical tour, we head to the Jardin Majorelle, where we take a moment to relax in a serene atmosphere filled with vibrant colors and rare plants. Then, we visit the nearby  Yves Saint Laurent Museum to explore his creative works in the world of fashion and learn about the influence of Moroccan culture on his iconic designs. In the afternoon, we'll stroll through the souks of the old city, where we'll enjoy a unique shopping experience in the narrow, bustling alleyways. We'll enjoy the fragrance of spices, handmade leather goods, traditional carpets and souvenirs that reflect the spirit of the city. As evening approaches, we will head to one of the traditional restaurants overlooking the city from the top of the roof, where we will enjoy the enchanting sunset while having an authentic Moroccan dinner, including dishes such as tagine and couscous, with a cup of Moroccan mint tea. After a day full of adventures and experiences, we return to the residence in Marrakech to rest and prepare for the next day.

day 6 :

Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the High Atlas Mountains

We leave Marrakech in the morning heading towards Ouarzazate, via the Tizi n Tishka road, one of the most exciting in Morocco, where we will enjoy stunning landscapes stretching across the mountains of the High Atlas. On our way, we stopped at Ait Ben Haddou village, a historical site classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has formed a natural backdrop for many international films. Arriving in Ouarzazate, we explore the Taourer Palace, which reflects the splendor of Moroccan architecture, and then visit Atlas film studios, where the magic of world cinema comes to life. We conclude our day with a quiet night in Ouarzazate, preparing to continue our adventure.

day 7 :

Ouarzazate to Bomalen Dades

With the crack of dawn, we will travel towards Wadi Dades, passing through the Valley of Roses, which shines with its breathtaking beauty, especially in the spring when flowers cover the area with their bright colors and scatter their fragrance in the atmosphere. Along the way, we enjoy the breathtaking scenery and amazing rock formations of the Dades Strait. Before arriving at the hotel, we take a tour through the famous Tisddrin Zigzags, located on the road between Boumalne Dades and Amsmerir, where we will be amazed by these winding curves that make up a unique sight worth stopping and taking pictures. After this wonderful experience, we settle into one of the local hotels for a peaceful night amidst the beauty and splendor of nature.

day 8 :

Dades Valley to Merzouga

The next morning, we start our journey towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where we can see the golden land that stretches without borders. Along the way, we pass the Toudga Gorge located in the Tinghir region, one of the most prominent natural attractions in Morocco, where giant mountains intersect with deep valleys, providing stunning views worth stopping and contemplating. Here, we can wander among the towering rock formations that tell stories from ancient times, where rocks are scattered on both sides of the road in a spectacle that pleases the beholders. After leaving Gorges Todgha, we continue the road towards Merzouga, passing through Tinjdad, Khatarat, Arfoud, and Errissani. The golden sands of the desert unfold in front of us. Upon arrival, we experience a unique experience through camel riding, the traditional way that makes us live in the authentic atmosphere of the desert. We head to the desert camp, hiding among the dunes, where you will feel complete tranquility and picturesque nature. As we reach the camp, we enjoy a cup of traditional Moroccan tea while the gentle desert breeze surrounds us. We then prepare to witness the breathtaking sunset as it paints the dunes in warm golden tones, creating a stunning natural spectacle. The scene evolves with every passing moment as the sun gradually sinks below the horizon, wrapping the desert in a profound silence that brings a sense of inner calm. Afterwards, we gather around the fire for a traditional dinner, where authentic Moroccan food such as couscous or tagine is served, adding a special flavor under a starry sky that illuminates the way in the silence of the desert. This unparalleled atmosphere creates moments of relaxation and sharing, while we chat about the beauty of the trip and our experiences in the heart of the desert.

We conclude the day in the desert camp, where we spend the night in our traditional tents that take us to another world, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Under the clear sky, among the twinkling stars, you feel like you are in the heart of nothingness, with complete tranquility in every corner, making it an unforgettable experience in an atmosphere of serenity and silence.

day 9 :

Exploring Merzouga

As dawn breaks, we wake up to the fresh morning breeze for an unforgettable experience - watching the sunrise as it casts its golden rays on the sand dunes, creating a mesmerizing landscape. As the sun slowly rises, its glow reflects on the soft sand, making the desert look like a sea of shimmering gold. After a few moments of contemplation and admiring the beauty of the scenery, we embark on exciting adventures through the desert. We can visit a Bedouin family to discover their simple lifestyle and authentic hospitality, where we sip fine Moroccan tea and savor freshly baked bread prepared on coals. For the thrill-seekers, there's an unmissable opportunity to try sandboarding and glide freely down the sandy slopes, or take a thrilling 4x4 tour through the stunning desert terrain. Next, we head to the village of Khemlia, a hidden gem in the heart of the desert, where we can immerse ourselves in the world of Gnawa music. In a magical spiritual atmosphere, we listen to the rhythms of the drums and the resonance of the gourds that take us on a journey through time, drawing from a deep African and Sufi heritage. We can interact with local musicians and discover their stories that reflect a rich history of diverse cultures and traditions. As the sun sets, we arrive at the desert camp, where we enjoy a peaceful atmosphere under the starry sky. We sit around the fire, listen to traditional music, and savor a delicious dinner of desert cuisine. day 10 :

Merzouga to Zagora

On this day, we will title this day's journey as "From Desert to Desert" because we will be going from the Merzouga desert to the Zagora desert. After breakfast, enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. We will head towards the Rissani area, which is considered the ancient capital of the Tafilalt region and is famous for its traditional markets and historical reeds. A market is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, which is an ideal place to see locals trading in everything from spices and textiles to camels. You can also visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, as well as the AL-Fida Palace, which is a traditional castle that showcases the architecture of the region.
After the Rissani area, we will reach the Arfoud or Desert Gate area, a town known for its fossil heritage and artisan shops. We will stop at one of the many workshops where you can see the process of extracting and polishing fossils embedded in rocks. A short walk around a local date grove or tasting some varieties can be a great experience. We will have a traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant before continuing our journey.
After lunch, we will embark on a scenic excursion to Zagora through rugged landscapes and small Amazigh villages. This is a longer stretch, but the drive itself offers stunning views of the desert and the mountain. Once we arrive in Zagora, there are a few sites to see: the sign of Zagora: take a photo with the iconic sign that says" Timbuktu 52 days", marking the old caravan route. In addition to the village of Tamgarot, located just south of Zagora, Tamgarot is famous for its pottery, ancient libraries, and Zawiya Nasiriyah, a religious and educational center dating back to the 17th century.
Draa Palmray Valley: stroll through the lush palm oasis near the Draa River, one of the most famous palm groves in Morocco. We will spend our night in this quiet area and enjoy the quiet desert night.

day 11 :

Zagora to Ouarzazate

On this day, we will title this day's journey as "From Desert to Desert" because we will be going from the Merzouga desert to the Zagora desert. After breakfast, enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. day 12 :

Ouarzazate To Agadir

We start the day early from the city of Ouarzazate, the" Hollywood of Morocco", heading southwest along a charming mountain road that crosses oases, palms and traditional villages. You can stop to take pictures in the Ait Ben Haddou area. After two and a half hours of driving we will reach the city of Taroudant, known as the "small city of Marrakech", where it is distinguished by its huge historical walls. We take a short tour of both: alawiyin Square to explore the atmosphere of the traditional market, where you can buy spices, natural oils, and handicrafts. The walls of Taroudant, where you can take a horse-drawn carriage tour around the city to see its historical Gates. . Then we continue our way to the city of Agadir, after 12 days full of adventures, you will say goodbye to the kingdom of Morocco and behind you unforgettable moments and experiences.
